Introduction to Trusteeship

Registration is closed for this event
A free participatory workshop exploring the main roles and responsibilities of trustees. From meeting your legal obligations to providing great leadership: What are the key challenges? What works? And where can you get support? This workshop is particularly suited to new Trustees, and those considering becoming a Trustee.

Are you thinking about becoming a Trustee?  Have you recently been appointed?

A good Board of Trustees is vital for the sustainability of every charity or not for profit organisation. Each trustee has the opportunity to bring a wealth of experience and skills to their organisation and to contribute to its impact and overall success. However, the role of a trustee can also be particularly challenging, especially in this fast changing environment. Our free 'Introduction to Trusteeship' training aims to provide you with the knowledge to meet these challenges and will include discussions on meeting legal obligations and how to provide great leadership.

Delivered by experts in the field and including a Q&A with experienced existing trustees, this training will cover all the key elements of a trustee role. It is particularly suited to new trustees, and those considering becoming a trustee.

There will be time before and after the training for networking over refreshments.
